Chasing Sin by Sara Brookes

Every spring, Kate risks her life chasing violent storms. Tired of watching her take unnecessary chances, two of her closest friends offer a different thrill. Devoted lovers Snyder and Tripp don’t just share a passion for nature’s fury; they long to have the fearless woman between them.

Though reluctant, Kate finds the proposition is too irresistible to refuse. Her acceptance leads to an explosive night of no-holds-barred sex for the threesome. However, when morning dawns, she realizes this type of unusual relationship isn’t one she belongs in.

Despite her best efforts to keep the men at arm’s length, Kate is soon facing down the storm of the century with Snyder and Tripp by her side. When Mother Nature intrudes, the trio discovers shelter in each other’s arms. With the hurricane raging outside and passion raging inside, everything is at stake.

e-book
short novel

I received this e-book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

What I Liked:

The opening scene of the book was amazing. Jumping right into the action with the weather chasing had me at page one. It was like watching Twister, but with some super smoking double hot love scenes. Amazing. The m/m sex scenes and the menage parts were wonderful too.

What I Didn't:

I found myself getting irritated with Kate. She had two luscious guys that were totally in love and lust with her and she kind of behaved like a brat. She up and runs off just when things are going well and behaves badly when the boys come for a storm run. Temper tantrums galore, I was honestly ready to slap her one.

Overall:

The storm action was amazing and the action was perfection. The two guys were hunky and adorable, but I really did not like Kate. She was always in a temper and lashed out at the two guys who loved her the most. While I get she had issues, it sort of detracted from the story as a whole. I wanted to understand her better, but felt that the character didn't reach deep enough. The guys were great and while I don't normally read m/m love scenes, these were well done.
